Things I simply will not tolerate include: racism, sexism, “fatism” or any other sort of xenophobic, hateful rhetoric. And yes, I’m using “xenophobe” to indicate that foreign = people outside of your social/cultural box of experience. Please keep your privilege-based vitriol to yourself, or find yourself talking to air, okay?

Better yet, try opening yourself up to the idea that your world viewpoint != the world.

No, I was not the target of some hateful speech; I observed it in an now-former acquaintance. And no, this is nothing new - but better to just state it out front than let anyone else who knows me think that these sorts of slurs are acceptable, period. I am friend and staunch supporter of people of all walks of life.

If this bothers you, I am not the friend for you.

Also, I suggest you get your head out of your ass and open your eyes to the amazing, beautiful diversity in the world.
