Something new: a new addition to the blog, that is!

I’ve been thinking about this idea for a while now – adding another voice to my blog, one that is strong and clear and in line with my ideals, but with a style and experiences all its own.

And then it started to become clear who I wanted. It was an obvious choice, really!

So I’d like to welcome Kali Cichon to the blog: as a regular contributor or as often as she’d like. Yay!

A bit about Kali:
She’s a mid 20-something resident of a former hometown of mine, Charlottesville Virgina.
She’s been deeply involved in Occupy Charlotte.
She has a strong desire to work towards change, particularly on social issues. A focus for her right now is homeless in the community.

I’s much rather that you get to know her for yourselves, rather than have me tell you all the things I think are awesome about her, so I’ll shut up and let her talk for herself. 😉

If you think you’ve got something worth sharing here, or that this is a space worth sharing your words [!] – let me know. I have room for more voices. I have a pretty high standard of what I want, but I’m betting that if you read here regularly, and you have something to say, you just might fit the bill.

I write, as openly as possible, about my experiences with life, love, creativity, depression and not-depression. I share opinions. I promote compassion and change. I talk about music. I also write poetry and short stories. I like to share them here.
